Folk art for Chapter 2 of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita
The shame of pity overpowers my nature. My mind is confused about my duty. Please tell me decisively what is good for me. I am your disciple. Guide me as I have taken refuge in you. (Bhagavad Geeta Ch. 2 V. 7)

Arjuna, a skilled warrior, found himself in a state of moral and emotional turmoil before the commencement of the great war of Mahabharata. He saw his relatives, teachers, and loved ones on both sides of the conflict, and he was filled with sorrow and doubt. In this state of inner conflict, Arjuna laid down his weapons and expressed his unwillingness to fight, even if it meant giving up his duty as a warrior.
I have portrayed the verse in an Indian folk art style 'Orissa Pattachitra'.

Orissa Pattachitra is a traditional art style from the eastern Indian state of Odisha. It is characterised by intricate line work, vibrant colours, and intricate detailing, depicting Indian cultural stories.
